Maasdam Features

Holland America Cruise Lines offer a wide variety of entertainment for their guests. Once onboard the Maasdam, you can head to the elegant Crow’s Nest, which is always a fond favourite with guests—with huge wrap-around windows offering panoramic views. If you enjoy live singing, head to the piano bar or the lounge and catch one of the excellent shows onboard.

Maasdam offers lots of activities to ensure no two days are the same, unless you want it that way of course! Other onboard features include the fitness centre, culinary arts centres, casino, and lido pool. For the families onboard, Club HAL provides teen- and youth-friendly activities for ages 3 to 17, all supervised by qualified full-time staff.

Maasdam Cuisine

Whilst onboard, you can enjoy everything and anything from a burger and fries by the pool to the Italian restaurant Canaletto. Various dining locations onboard include the Pinnacle Grill offering dishes inspired by America’s Pacific Northwest. Maasdam’s main dining room for breakfast, lunch, and a five-course dinner, the Lido market offering a fresh approach to casual dining, and Dive-In for meals by the pool including burgers, gourmet hot dogs, and grilled chicken breast sandwiches.

Maasdam Staterooms

Holland America are known for their generous offerings of room, with all staterooms featuring luxurious Euro-top mattresses, the finest linens and towels, massaging shower heads, and Elemis bath products as standard. The Lanai Staterooms have sliding doors that lead onto the walk-around lower promenade deck, with other little bonuses such as complimentary fruit on request, elegant ice buckets for drinks in your stateroom, and shoeshine services.

Pinnacle suites offer all the above as standard, but are a lot bigger—being approx. 1159 square feet in size and offering new features such as Bose Bluetooth enabled sound links, complimentary mimosas, premium duvets and bathrobes, and an in-suite coffee and espresso machine!
