About Celebrity Solstice

Celebrity Cruises‘ Celebrity Solstice is simply one of the most incredible ships at sea. For those lucky enough to sail on Celebrity Solstice, expect uncompromising service, with nearly one staff member for every two guests, world class dining, Broadway quality entertainment, the finest spa treatments by Elemis, and an onboard experience that encapsulates “Modern Luxury”. The Celebrity Solstice is also based in Australia and New Zealand for the summer months and is the highest rated cruise ship based down under, giving the Australian public the opportunity to sample Modern Luxury on a regular basis.

What sets the Celebrity Solstice apart is her “firsts.” Like having the first lawn club at sea, the first hot glass show, and being the first cruise line to have 5 women redesign and redecorate the staterooms.

Sail date: 3.2.2026

Advantages

Ship is looking really well after refurbishing. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Have not been on a Celebrity cruise since before COVID and was delighted to see there was still a very lively ice bar . Food overall was excellent.

Weak Points

The assumption that as we’re in an aqua class cabin that we would want to dine in Blue every night. Sorry but we don’t cruise for healthy food. It was actually questioned why we didn’t want to dine in Blue and we experienced some initial problems getting a table in the main restaurant. It took a visit to the maitre d to resolve the issue. Once resolved we couldn’t fault the food or service. Found the specialty restaurants expensive for the quality of the food served. As experienced cruisers have had better speciality restaurants for less money on other cruise lines.
