Celebrity Ascent which will be the fourth ship in the highly acclaimed, award-winning Edge Series, made the monumental move from concept to construct on November 17, 2021 as the first piece of steel was cut at the Chantiers de l’Atlantique shipyard in Saint-Nazaire, France.
Celebrity Cruises fourth Edge-series ship will launch in December 2023 with an Caribbean sailings out of Florida.
The 3,260-passenger vessel Celebrity Ascent will operate sailings in the eastern and western Caribbean from Port Everglades, Fort Lauderdale, weekly.
The eastern Caribbean itineries feature San Juan, Puerto Rico; Tortola, the British Virgin Islands; and Basseterre, St Kitts and Nevis with the western Caribbean sailings featuring calls to Nassau, in the Bahamas; Cozumel, Mexico; and the Cayman Islands.
