The Restaurant is the main dining room, with floor-to-ceiling windows offering sweeping ocean views and a menu of regional specialities and classics — included in your cruise fare. Bars, lounges and entertainment

Viking Lyra's social spaces are designed to feel calm and residential rather than busy or resort-like. The Living Room sits at the heart of the ship, with generous seating, curated activities and live classical music from the Viking Resident Musicians — entry is free, with beverages charged separately unless covered by your package.

Torshavn® brings the atmosphere of a golden-age jazz lounge, with live music and cocktails available each evening (beverages charged separately). The Explorers' Lounge offers two-storey panoramic windows framing open ocean — an ideal spot to watch the world go by as the ship moves between ports. The Atrium and the Clinker Bar — the latter designed to evoke ancient Viking longships — provide further social settings throughout the day.

Pools, spa and fitness

Viking Lyra offers two pool experiences at no extra cost. The Main Pool has a retractable roof, making it practical in variable weather; in the evening the poolside screen allows al fresco film screenings. The Infinity Pool — one of the first of its kind at sea — is surrounded by teak decking, with floor-to-ceiling windows creating the sensation of swimming at the heart of your destination; a hot tub is included alongside it.

The Nordic Spa is open to all guests without charge; the sauna and snow grotto are available to use freely, while individual treatments are charged separately. The Fitness Centre provides treadmills, elliptical machines, exercise bikes and free-weight space — use of the equipment is complimentary, though some classes attract a fee. The Sports Deck adds a running track, boccie, mini golf and shuffleboard, with guided yoga available at a charge.

A Hair Salon offers cutting, styling and the Royal Nordic Hair Ritual, all charged separately.

The Penthouse Veranda Stateroom (PV1) offers 33.4 m² with a private veranda and enhanced sea views, sleeping up to four.
