    The Independence of the Seas has recently been revitalized and is now packed with incredible innovations to stir your imagination. Share a high five with Shrek as part of The DreamWorks Experience. Catch a first-run film in the 3D cinema or poolside under the stars on the outdoor cinema screen then finish the evening with a selection of reds or whites at the renovated, now-more-intimate Vintages wine bar.

    Plus you can enjoy all the revolutionary features that the Freedom Class ships has always been known for, like the FlowRider surf simulator, the rock climbing wall, an ice-skating rink, the Royal Promenade, a mini golf course, the H2O Zone water park, the brand new movies under the stars and much more. Don’t forget to relax in a cantilevered whirlpool over the ocean below, or head for the sophisticated spa and lie back and chill. Take in a show at night time at the majestic theatre and explore the bars and restaurants across the ship.

    There is such an array of dining choices onboard Independence of the Seas, you will be spoilt for choice- and time in which to sample them all! Take your seat for formal dining in the main restaurant or head out to the Windjammer buffet at the other end of the scale for 24-hour snacks and international cuisine. There are 2 new dining options onboard with the Cupcake Cupboard serving up to 30 different vintage style cupcakes and Giovanni’s Table for a traditional Italian dish. Speciality food options onboard are extensive, including a Johnny Rockets restaurant, Portofino Italian Restaurant, Chops Grille steak house, Ben & Jerry’s ice cream, and Sorrento’s pizza.     Independence of the Seas Staterooms

    The Independence of the Seas offers you 4 main types of stateroom:  Inside, Ocean view, Balcony and Suites. Within the interior cabins, you will also find the promenade view staterooms giving you a bird’s eye view of the daily promenade activities, and also family staterooms which can accomodate up to 6 people. All the staterooms come with twin/double bedding and private ensuite facilites along with TVs and telephones. At the other end of the spectrum, you have the suites, again in various types, ranging from the junior suites all the way to the Royal Suite which has a living area, a separate bedroom and balcony.
