Where does Carnival sail in 2027?

Carnival Cruise Line’s 2027 programme spans two broad directions: sailings close to home across the South Pacific and around Australia, and longer-haul voyages to the Caribbean, the Western Mediterranean, the East Coast of America and Central America. The Caribbean is where the bulk of Carnival’s 2027 capacity sits, including a strong run of Western Caribbean itineraries. Sailings range from 4 nights to 26 nights, with a median of 8 nights — enough variety for a long weekend at sea or a proper three-week voyage. Most itineraries are round trips, though a share are one-way sailings where a domestic flight connects the two ends of the journey.

Close to home — South Pacific and Australian sailings

If you want to cruise without a long-haul flight, the South Pacific and Australian departures are worth looking at first. Ships leave from Sydney and Brisbane, so if you live in New South Wales or Queensland you can reach the ship without leaving the country. From other states it is a short domestic hop — still far simpler than a flight to the US or Europe. The South Pacific from Sydney in 2027 and Easter sailings from Sydney in 2027 are both worth a look if these departures suit your calendar.

Carnival also has sailings in the Polynesia region for those wanting to push further into the Pacific.

The long haul — Caribbean, Mediterranean and the Americas

The majority of Carnival’s 2027 sailings depart from the United States. Florida ports — Port Canaveral, Tampa and Miami — are the main departure points, alongside Galveston in Texas. Miami and Fort Lauderdale (Port Everglades) are about half an hour apart, so a Florida trip can sail from either — worth checking cruises from Miami and cruises from Fort Lauderdale for the best combination of dates and prices.

For European itineraries, Carnival has a Mediterranean programme in 2027 that includes Western Mediterranean routes and sailings calling at Barcelona. There is also a small programme sailing around England. If you are looking at all-inclusive Mediterranean cruises in 2027 as an alternative, we have those too. For any of these overseas departures, Cruise1st can book flights, hotels either side, transfers and tours as a single package — so the whole trip is sorted in one go.

Fans of Caribbean cruises in 2027 will find Carnival one of the most active lines in the region. Sailings departing Brisbane in 2027 and Brisbane departures in September 2027 are also bookable if you want a round-trip that starts closer to home and connects to a Caribbean itinerary.

Which ships does Carnival sail in 2027?

Several ships are active across the 2027 programme. Here is what stands out on the main vessels:

Carnival Sunshine

Sunshine is one of the more active ships across 2027. Its 3-deck adult-only Serenity Retreat gives those travelling without children a genuine escape, while the Speedway Splash is one of the line’s newer water attractions. It is a strong pick for sport and activity enthusiasts. Take a look at Carnival Sunshine’s cabins and deck plans to find the right grade.

  • Inside cabin with Porthole (PT) — 16 m², sleeps up to 4. Two circular portholes bring natural daylight in without the balcony price tag.
  • Sea-view cabin (6A) — large picture window with an unobstructed sea view, delivering the light and outlook that standard inside cabins lack.
  • Balcony cabin (8A) — 17 m², sleeps up to 4. A private balcony for sundowners or breakfast in the open air, without sharing a deck with other guests.
  • Captain’s Suite (CS) — 47 m², sleeps up to 5. A separate walk-in bedroom and spacious living room with sofa and armchairs.

Carnival Adventure

Based in Sydney, Carnival Adventure is the ship to look at for Australian departures. The EDGE Adventure Park sits high above the deck and delivers zip-lining, rock climbing, abseiling and a flying fox — activities you would not expect to find at sea. Dining runs to Fahrenheit 555 Steakhouse and Bonsai Sushi, and the evenings can go from Blanc de Blanc Uncorked cabaret to the adults-only Serenity Retreat. Camp Ocean (ages 2–11), Circle C and Club O2 teen programmes mean families are looked after across all ages. See Carnival Adventure’s cabins and deck plans before you book.

  • Inside cabin (4A) — 15 m², sleeps up to 4. Walk-in wardrobe and generous storage, which matters on a longer voyage.
  • Ocean-view cabin with Porthole (PT) — 15 m², sleeps up to 4. Two round portholes in the quieter lower decks.
  • Balcony cabin (8A) — 16 m², sleeps up to 4. Glass folding door opens onto a private outdoor space with a view inside-cabin guests do not have.
  • Byron Beach Club Presidential Suite (SB) — 58 m², sleeps up to 4. More than twice the space of a standard balcony cabin, with an expansive balcony, dressing area and deluxe bathroom.

Carnival Firenze

Firenze brings 9 restaurants, bars and lounges to the fleet, alongside the Carnival WaterWorks water park. The ship also introduces the brand-new Terrazza cabin category, which is worth considering if you want something a little different. Check Carnival Firenze’s cabins and deck plans for the full layout.

  • Inside cabin (4A) — 16 m², sleeps up to 4. A metre roomier than the berth-equipped inside option, with more flexible bed configuration.
  • Deluxe Sea-view cabin (6L) — 21 m², sleeps up to 4. Separate vanity area, bathtub and main shower — two bathroom areas for couples.
  • Balcony cabin (7C, cove position) — 17 m², sleeps up to 4. Private outdoor space for breakfast and sundowners that interior and window-cabin guests do not share.
  • Ocean Suite (OS) — 26 m², sleeps up to 4. Spa bath, walk-in wardrobe, and close to twice the living space of a standard balcony cabin.

More ships on the 2027 programme

The 2027 line-up also includes Carnival Luminosa, with its Fahrenheit 555 Steakhouse, Bonsai Sushi Express, Seafood Shack and the Cloud 9 Spa thermal suites alongside the adults-only Serenity Retreat. Carnival Spirit carries what is billed as the largest waterpark at sea in Australia, plus a Serenity adults-only area and a full range of youth programmes. Carnival Miracle has a wedding chapel on board, with 80% of its cabins positioned as outside cabins — see Carnival Miracle’s cabins and deck plans and Carnival Luminosa’s cabins and deck plans for the detail. Carnival Encounter, Carnival Legend, Carnival Spirit’s cabins and deck plans and Carnival Celebration round out the fleet, with Carnival Celebration’s cabins and deck plans and Carnival Legend’s cabins and deck plans available to browse before you decide. See also Carnival Encounter’s cabins and deck plans and Carnival Splendor alongside Carnival Splendor’s cabins and deck plans.

Are there any Carnival cruise deals for 2027?

Prices on some 2027 sailings are reduced from their previously listed rates — on isolated departures the saving can reach up to 37%, though most reduced sailings sit closer to around 10% off that cabin grade’s previous price. Fare types such as early-saver and last-minute offers appear across the programme, so the earlier you search the wider your choice. Our Carnival cruise deals page keeps the most current offers together in one place.

Fares start from A$303 pp* for the shortest sailings — a useful entry point for a first Carnival cruise or a quick getaway. Our cheap Carnival cruises page lists the more budget-friendly options across all years if you want to compare.

Why book your 2027 Carnival cruise with Cruise1st?

Cruise1st’s Australian cruise experts are on the phone seven days a week to talk through routes, ships and cabin grades before you commit. We hold availability across the whole Carnival fleet for 2027, and we can put flights, hotels, transfers and insurance around your cruise so everything is confirmed in one booking — that is the Cruise1st Package. Every booking comes with our Best Price Guarantee, and as members of CLIA and ATAS we are held to the standards you would expect from a specialist.

Browse our full cruises listings if you want to compare Carnival against the wider market, or head to our Carnival cruises to Australia page for itineraries focused on Australian waters. If you are sailing from a specific port, Carnival cruises from Sydney, Carnival cruises from Brisbane and Carnival cruises from Melbourne each have their own dedicated listings.

Looking at other cruise lines in 2027?

If you are comparing lines for the same year, Princess Cruises around Australia in 2027 and cruises around Australia in 2027 are strong alternatives for local itineraries. For the Caribbean, Royal Caribbean from Sydney in 2027 and Royal Caribbean from Brisbane in 2027 cover the same popular routes. A broader look at all 2027 cruises is a good starting point if you are still weighing up lines and regions. You might also consider New Zealand cruises in 2027 or, for a comparable year, Christmas 2026 cruises in Australia and 2026 cruises from Sydney.

*Prices are per person based on 2 people sharing, and are subject to change. This price is not kept up to date and therefore does not reflect live pricing and availability. Prices and any discounts shown were checked on 14 October 2026.

Where a discount is shown, it is a reduction from the price previously listed for that cabin grade on that sailing, not a comparison between cabin grades or against a brochure rate. Discounts and prices shown are not kept up to date: the reduction available now may be smaller, or may have ended, and prices may have changed.
