Mamsen's®, tucked inside the Explorers' Lounge on Deck 7, brings Norwegian home-cooking to every meal of the day at no extra charge.

Viking Nerthus balances active social spaces with quieter corners for those who prefer to watch the river go by.

The Living Room is the social heart of the ship — generous seating, live classical music from the Viking Resident Musicians, and a calm atmosphere for connecting with fellow guests. Entry is included; beverages and food are charged separately unless covered by your package. Adjacent is the Bar, whose Clinker design evokes Norse longships and creates a distinctive Nordic setting. Torshavn® channels a jazz-lounge atmosphere — live music, cocktails, and the feel of a golden-age supper club — while the Explorers' Lounge wraps two-storey panoramic windows around a relaxed drinks space inspired by great voyages of discovery.

The Atrium functions as a central meeting point for cocktails and conversation, and the round-the-clock Guest Services desk is on hand to arrange shore excursions, museum bookings and restaurant reservations.

The Theater seats up to 450 and hosts lectures, films and TED Talks on a large screen; it can also be split into two HD cinemas depending on the programme. Admission is included in your fare.

Pools, spa and sports on Viking Nerthus

Two pools sit at the centre of the wellness offer. The Main Pool with Retractable Roof is heated and open year-round — whatever the Seine weather — with a poolside screen for evening films under the open sky. The Infinity Pool, one of the first of its kind at sea, uses floor-to-ceiling windows to blur the boundary between pool and river, and is surrounded by a teak deck with a hot tub nearby; evening dining at the Aquavit Terrace makes it a natural transition from swim to supper.

The Nordic Spa is complimentary to enter, with a sauna and snow grotto for contrast therapy; individual treatments and classes carry a separate charge. The Fitness Centre offers treadmills, elliptical machines, exercise bikes and free-weight space — use of equipment is included, though some classes may be charged. On the open air Sports Deck, a running track sits alongside boccie, mini golf and shuffleboard; guided yoga classes are available at an additional charge. The onboard Hair Salon rounds out the wellness programme with services including the Royal Nordic Hair Ritual.

The Standard Stateroom E, at 13.9 m², is a river-view outside cabin with a half-height picture window — natural light and passing scenery without the cost of a veranda. The Veranda Stateroom A steps up to 19.0 m² and adds a private full-size veranda: direct outdoor access to the river air that inside staterooms cannot match, at a price below the suites. At the top sits the Explorer Suite, a 41.3 m² suite sleeping up to four with a wraparound veranda delivering 270-degree views — the most complete river experience the ship offers.
