Ilma at a glance

Ilma is the flagship vessel of The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection, bringing the brand's signature blend of residential luxury and destination-led travel to sea. She sails itineraries across the Caribbean and the Mediterranean, departing from ports including San Juan (Puerto Rico), Miami, Athens (Piraeus), Rome (Civitavecchia), Venice, Monte Carlo and Barcelona. Sailings on sale with Cruise1st run up to 16 nights.

Dining on Ilma

Ilma carries one of the most considered dining programmes afloat, spanning a wide range of styles — from included restaurants to specialty venues by Michelin-starred chefs.

TIDES is the main included restaurant, where seasonally driven menus shift with each port of call, served in an intimate setting. Mistral & Mistral Bar offers Mediterranean-inspired fare — fresh fish, handmade pasta and grilled meats — indoors or under the open sky, and is also included in your cruise fare. The Pool House keeps things relaxed throughout the day, with global dishes served poolside from morning through to the evening, with no dress code required. Dining Privée, a private room within TIDES, is available by reservation for celebratory occasions, with bespoke menus and personalised service — pricing applies.

For specialty dining, Seta Su Ilma brings contemporary Italian cuisine by Michelin-starred chef Fabio Trabocchi to an elegant setting, with pristine seafood, prime meats and handmade pasta; à la carte pricing applies. Beach House, conceived by Michelin-starred chef Michael Minas, takes its cues from Pan-Latin American cooking — fire-kissed flavours, shared plates and a premium tequila selection, charged separately. Memorī serves contemporary Japanese cooking at an open sushi bar, with sashimi, tempura and charcoal-grilled Wagyu, with indoor and open-air seating available; à la carte pricing applies. S.E.A. offers a refined European tasting menu inspired by the philosophy of a three Michelin-starred chef; a reservation is required and a charge applies. The Living Room Café and Bar is a relaxed all-day gathering space for coffee, pastries and light bites; individual food and drinks are charged separately. In-suite dining is also available, bringing dishes from the ship's culinary venues directly to your cabin or private terrace.

Bars and lounges

The social heart of Ilma is The Living Room, a vibrant blue lounge with a curated travel library that transforms each evening into a piano bar and live music hub. The Observation Terrace, perched at the top of the ship, delivers unobstructed panoramic views by day and live entertainment by night — an ideal spot whether you're watching a coastline pass or raising a glass after dinner. The Humidor offers a quieter retreat for fine cognac and hand-rolled cigars from an extensive selection; drinks and cigars are charged separately.

Pools, the marina and outdoor spaces

The Pool area offers sunbeds, whirlpools and misting sprays, and doubles as Ilma's liveliest deck when parties get going. The standout feature for many guests is the Marina and Marina Terrace: when Ilma anchors at select ports, the marina opens directly to the sea, creating a private beach experience complete with sun loungers and water toys. The adjacent Marina Terrace serves handcrafted cocktails and light bites — food and drinks are charged separately.

Spa and wellness

The Ritz-Carlton Spa® carries private treatment rooms with sea views, using premium ESPA products in treatments inspired by the destinations on your itinerary. Entry is complimentary; therapies are charged separately. The Fitness Studio is equipped with modern Technogym machines — bikes, rowers, ellipticals and weights — and offers both complimentary and paid classes including sunrise yoga and mat pilates, plus personal training and nutrition counselling. The adjoining Barber & Salon provides nail treatments, styling and men's facial treatments, with all services charged individually.

Families on Ilma

Ritz Kids® is a dedicated onboard programme that blends learning and play, included in your cruise fare. The schedule intensifies during school holidays and summer months, giving younger guests more to do when it matters most.

Cabins on Ilma

Ilma's cabin grades range up to The Owner's Suite, which spans 72 m² with an expansive private terrace and its own whirlpool — the most generous private outdoor living space on board, sleeping up to four guests. Full details of every grade, including deck plans, are on the Ilma cabins and deck plans page.

Where Ilma sails

Ilma divides her time between the Caribbean and the Mediterranean. In the Caribbean, the majority of sailings depart from San Juan, Puerto Rico, visiting islands across the Eastern Caribbean and Southern Caribbean; a further set departs from Miami. If the Caribbean is your focus, you can browse Caribbean cruises in 2027 or Caribbean cruises departing from Sydney to see what's available across the full season.

In the Mediterranean, Ilma sails from Venice, Rome (Civitavecchia), Monte Carlo, Barcelona and Athens (Piraeus) across both the Western Mediterranean and Eastern Mediterranean. Transatlantic crossings also feature among her sailings. The Mediterranean cruises 2027 and all-inclusive Mediterranean cruises for 2027 pages show the full range of options across the region.

Why book Ilma with Cruise1st

Cruise1st offers a Best Price Guarantee on all sailings, backed by Australian cruise experts available seven days a week — so if you have questions about which cabin grade suits your group, or which itinerary fits your travel dates, there's a specialist on the phone before you book. Because every Ilma sailing requires a flight to the port — whether that's San Juan, Athens, Miami, Rome or elsewhere — Cruise1st Packages let you pull the cruise, flights, hotel nights either side and transfers into a single holiday booking, so nothing is left uncoordinated.

Alternatives to Ilma

If you're weighing up your options, a few other ships sail overlapping routes from the same departure ports:

  • EXPLORA II (Explora Journeys) sails from the same ports and visits many of the same destinations — a straight alternative with no flight difference.
  • Silver Dawn (Silversea) also departs from the same ports and shares a strong overlap of countries across the Caribbean and Mediterranean.
  • Azamara Onward (Azamara Cruises) departs from the same ports and covers much of the same territory, including France, Puerto Rico, Italy and the British Virgin Islands.
