Dining on Viking Anubis

Viking Anubis carries a full range of dining venues, from a no-cost main restaurant to speciality tables that carry a separate charge.

The Restaurant is the main dining room, included in your fare and framed by floor-to-ceiling windows with views onto the river — the natural home for relaxed dinners as the ship moves between destinations. World Café on Deck 7 Aft adds an open-kitchen format with live cooking, international dishes and premium sushi; it flows out onto the Aquavit Terrace®, where you can dine directly above the water with the Nile as your backdrop. For lighter daytime eating, the Pool Grill serves freshly prepared dishes and a salad bar in a relaxed poolside setting.

Afternoon tea in the Wintergarden — finger sandwiches, scones, pastries and classical music — is complimentary and sits beside the main pool. Mamsen's® in the Explorers' Lounge brings Norwegian home-cooking to the Nile, available across breakfast, lunch and dinner at no extra charge.

For something more occasion-worthy, The Chef's Table offers a multi-course tasting menu with sommelier-paired wines at à la carte pricing, while Manfredi's Italian Restaurant® transports you to a trattoria atmosphere with cover charges applying. Bars, lounges and entertainment

The social heart of Viking Anubis is The Living Room, where Viking Resident Musicians play live classical music and curated activities fill the day — entry is free, with beverages charged separately. For something livelier after dinner, Torshavn® channels the golden age of Hollywood jazz lounges, with live music and premium spirits (charged separately). The Explorers' Lounge offers two-storey panoramic windows and a spot to watch the river slip by, while the Atrium provides a central gathering point with cocktails available at an additional charge. The Nordic-inspired Clinker Bar sits within The Living Room atrium, its longship-influenced design adding character to every drink.

The Theater seats up to 450 guests for lectures, TED Talks, films and documentaries — all included in your fare — and can be divided into two HD cinemas depending on the programme.

Pools, spa and sport on Viking Anubis

Viking Anubis carries two pools: the Main Pool with Retractable Roof, which allows swimming in any weather, doubles as an outdoor cinema in the evening; and the Infinity Pool, described as one of the first of its kind at sea, with floor-to-ceiling windows designed to make you feel as though you are swimming within the landscape itself. A hot tub adjoins the infinity pool area, and the adjacent Aquavit Terrace® is available for evening dining (food and beverages charged separately).

The Nordic Spa is open to all guests at no charge for access, with the sauna, snow grotto and connected fitness facilities free to use — individual treatments and classes carry a separate fee. The Fitness Center provides treadmills, elliptical machines, exercise bikes and free-weight space; equipment use is complimentary. The Sports Deck adds open-air options including a running track, boccie, mini golf and shuffleboard. A Hair Salon is also on board, with services charged separately.
