AmaMora at a glance

AmaMora is a purpose-built Danube river ship launched in 2019 and operated by AmaWaterways. She measures 135 metres in length and accommodates up to 156 guests across 78 cabins, attended by a crew of 30. Dining on AmaMora

AmaMora offers two included dining venues, meaning there is no cover charge at either for any guest aboard.

The Main Restaurant is the culinary heart of the ship, with open seating times so you are never tied to a fixed sitting. The menu leans into regional cuisine, and the room is arranged to make the most of river views — watching Central European towns and countryside pass while you eat is part of the experience. Conversation flows easily in the relaxed, informal atmosphere.

The Chef's Table is a different proposition entirely: an intimate setting where a dedicated chef builds a multi-course tasting menu in front of you. It is culinary theatre with personalised attention, and like the Main Restaurant, it is included in your fare. Both venues are open to all guests with no cabin-grade restriction.

Complimentary specialty coffee and tea is available throughout the day from a self-service station, and the Main Lounge — the social hub of the ship — has a fully stocked bar where you can order cocktails and listen to port talks or evening entertainment. Drinks at the bar are charged separately unless you have added a beverage package to your booking.

On-board life

The Sun Deck runs the length of the upper deck and is the place to be as AmaMora moves between cities. Unobstructed views make it ideal for watching locks, vineyards and medieval skylines go by. The heated Sun Deck pool is up here too, with an integrated swim-up bar so you can order a drink without climbing out — an unexpectedly resort-like touch on a river ship.

For those who want to stay active, the Walking Track on the Sun Deck and the Fitness Centre below are both complimentary. Specialist fitness classes carry a charge, but the cardio and strength equipment is yours to use at no extra cost. The Massage & Hair Salon is the place to unwind at sea; the space itself is free to enter, and individual treatments and hairdressing services are charged as you use them.

One of AmaMora's most practical inclusions is the complimentary bicycle fleet. When the ship docks, you can take a bike ashore and explore a town or the surrounding countryside at your own pace — no guided tour required. It is an easy way to see more of the places the itinerary visits. The Library rounds out the quieter side of life on board, with books and games available to all guests at no charge. There is also a Gift Shop on board carrying souvenirs, regional keepsakes and everyday essentials.

Cabins on AmaMora

The Suite SS is the largest cabin on the ship at 32.5 m², a balcony category with considerably more living space than the cabins below it. If you want room to spread out after a day ashore, this is where to look.

The Balcony Cabin AA (21.8 m²) has a dual-balcony arrangement — both a drop-down French window and a full outside terrace — giving two separate ways to take in the river scenery. It is the only grade that offers this combination, and at up to four guests it works well for families or two couples travelling together.

The Outside Cabin D is the entry-level category at 14.9 m². A fixed outside window brings in natural light and river scenery, and guests who prefer to enjoy open air from the shared Sun Deck rather than a private balcony will find it a practical and comfortable choice.
