Dining on AmaFiora

AmaFiora offers two distinct included dining experiences, so you are never paying extra for a good meal.

The Main Restaurant is the culinary heart of the ship. Open seating means you dine on your own schedule, and the menu draws on regional cuisines from the countries AmaFiora passes through — all with river views from the table. For something more theatrical, The Chef's Table is an intimate venue where a dedicated chef builds a multi-course tasting menu in front of you. Both restaurants are included in your cruise fare.

Between meals, the Specialty Coffee & Tea Station runs on a complimentary self-service basis — a proper espresso in the morning or a loose-leaf tea in the afternoon, without any charge.

Bars, lounges and social spaces

The Main Lounge is where the ship comes together in the evening. It's a fully stocked bar, a venue for expert talks on the ports ahead, and a live entertainment space — all in one room. Drinks and food are charged separately here unless you're travelling on a beverage package, but entry itself is free.

The Sun Deck sits open above everything else, giving unobstructed views as the riverbanks change around you. It also doubles as an occasional al fresco dining space when the weather allows.

Keeping active on board

AmaFiora is well set up for guests who want to stay moving. The Heated Sun-Deck Pool has an integrated swim-up bar — you can order a drink without leaving the water. Alongside it, the Walking Track on the Sun Deck is a complimentary space for jogging or an early-morning walk in the open air. Below deck, the Fitness Center carries modern cardio and strength-training equipment; use is complimentary, though specialist fitness classes carry a separate charge.

Ashore, AmaFiora's Complimentary Bicycle Fleet sets her apart from many river ships: guests can borrow a bike at ports of call and explore the surrounding area independently, at no charge, without joining an organised excursion.

Wellness and other facilities

The Massage & Hair Salon offers a peaceful retreat from the activity on deck. The space itself is free to enter; treatments and hairdressing services are charged separately. Quieter still is the Library, a complimentary refuge of books and games when you want a proper break. There is also a Gift Shop stocking essentials, souvenirs and regional keepsakes.

Cabins and suites on AmaFiora

• Suite SS (32.5 m²): The largest accommodation aboard, with a private balcony and more than 11 m² of extra floor space over any balcony cabin. Sleeps two.
• Balcony Cabin AA (21.8 m²): One of the roomier balcony grades, around 2 m² more floor space than mid-tier balcony cabins. Sleeps two.
• Outside Cabin D (14.9 m²): Positioned on the Piano Deck — the lowest passenger deck — for maximum stability and quiet. A practical choice for guests who are sensitive to movement or noise. Sleeps two.

Where AmaFiora sails

The majority of AmaFiora's sailings follow the Rhine, departing from Amsterdam and Basel. A further set of itineraries takes the Ijssel route, while two sailings explore the Danube from Budapest, and two more cover the Benelux waterways. Voyages run up to 14 nights, with departures from September 2026 onwards. All 21 sailings currently on sale are discounted.

Is food included on AmaFiora?

Can I explore ports independently on AmaFiora?

Yes. AmaFiora carries a complimentary bicycle fleet that all guests can borrow at ports of call, so you can set off and explore at your own pace without booking a guided shore excursion.

Which cabin grade should I choose on AmaFiora?

If space is the priority, the Suite SS at 32.5 m² is the most generous option aboard. Guests who want a balcony but prefer a roomier cabin than the standard grade will find the Balcony Cabin AA a strong middle ground at 21.8 m². Do I need to arrange flights separately?
