Passing the time on board Celebrity Solstice

As you’d imagine, you’ll find plenty of things to go during your time on Celebrity Solstice. The owners have put some real effort into creating an ‘outdoors’ feel to the ship – namely half an acre of grass! Feel free to chill out as you would in your local park. You can even play a number of lawn games including croquet, bocce, blongo, or baggo. Haven’t heard of them? There’s plenty of time to learn!

Elsewhere there are dance lessons in a variety of styles including salsa, jive and hip-hop, Rosetta Stone language lessons, photo editing classes, and more. Then, there are the mixology classes, where you’ll learn to mix the perfect cocktail. Or the wine appreciation 101, where you’ll get to sample a number of wines from around the globe. Or watch one of the glass-blowing demonstrations at the Hot Glass Show, featuring the Corning Museum of Glass.

There are even dedicated youth and teen programmes to keep the kids entertained while you relax. Younger children will enjoy the play areas and entertainment centre, while teenagers will get to hang out with other people their age, play games on the latest consoles, and dance the night away at one of the supervised late-night dances.

With this much to choose from, there’s little chance of anyone in the family getting bored!
