One of the smaller ships in the Celebrity fleet, Summit offers the same unparalleled level of personal service you can expect from a Celebrity cruise. Since her first voyage in 2001, the 91,000-tonne Celebrity Summit has been cruising to destinations such as Bermuda, Canada, New England and the Caribbean.

Celebrity Summit Recreation

Sporty passengers have much to occupy them on board the Celebrity Summit, with a full size basketball court and table tennis tables on hand to keep guests entertained. There is also a pool specifically for the use of people who wish to swim lengths. Runners can also enjoy the jogging track found on deck.

Passengers can also have their entertainment organised for them by selecting one of Celebrity’s three entertainment programmes. The Renew programme offers fitness classes and spa treatments in the 25,000 square foot AquaSpa, as well as several wellness seminars focusing on keeping healthy. The Savour programme is the ideal choice for budding chefs or those who love their food, with wine tasting and cooking demonstrations the central features here. Finally, the Discovery programme offers lectures, demonstrations and classes for those who want to acquire a new skill during their holiday. Nightlife can be found in one of the many bars and lounges found on board Summit, as well as the casino.

Celebrity Summit Food

The main dining room, The Cosmopolitan, is the most popular eatery on board Summit, with Celebrity’s usual high standards of service complemented by amazing food and superb panoramic views.

Elsewhere, the Waterfall Café and Grill serves buffet food for breakfast, lunch and dinner, while the speciality dining venue is without doubt the five-star gourmet Normandie Restaurant. For lighter meals, enjoy a pastry and a coffee at Cova Café or a healthy option at the AquaSpa Café.

Celebrity Summit Staterooms

More than any other cruise line, Celebrity cruises endeavour to ensure as many staterooms as possible feature either an ocean view or a balcony. This effort has been a great success, with Summit boasting 853 cabins featuring an ocean view and 538 of those offering a balcony. Standard features of all rooms include interactive televisions, telephones, hair dryers, bathrobes, fully stocked mini-bars, comfortable queen beds, and spacious en suite bathrooms with separate shower.

For something particularly luxurious, this Celebrity cruise ship possesses fifty lavish suites in a range of sizes. The Concierge class offers guests more space than standard rooms, along with extra features such as fresh fruit, plush robes, upgraded showers, and a greater choice on the room service breakfast menus.
