First setting sail in 2002, Constellation is one of the largest Celebrity cruise liners, weighing in at a gargantuan 91,000 tonnes and housing up to 1,950 passengers. Constellation contains one crew member for every two passengers, meaning there is always someone on hand to tend to your requirements. Constellation underwent an extensive renovation in 2010, and now sails to destinations in the Caribbean, Mediterranean, Central America and the Panama Canal.

Celebrity Constellation Recreation

Celebrity cruises on the Constellation feature an array on exciting activities and entertainment to cater for passengers of all ages. Fitness fanatics can enjoy Constellation’s well-equipped gymnasium and take part in group classes or personal training. Other sports facilities include a basketball court, football pitch, jogging track and resistance swimming pool. Constellation also boasts two swimming pools, four whirlpools and a number of relaxing saunas. The 25,000 square foot AquaSpa is a highlight for many guests.

Guests can choose from a list of ten exciting bars and lounges for their evening’s entertainment, each with their own character and drinks selection, as well as live music. The Celebrity Theatre puts on shows ranging from full-scale productions to live music. The Cellar Masters lounge is a popular venue, offering wine tastings featuring a range of wines from across the globe, while the Grand Foyer offers some of the best views on the ship. Children of various ages are catered for, with Shipmates Fun Factory offering younger children activities, movies, video games, a splash pool and a ball pit to keep them occupied throughout the day. Teenagers can hang out in The Tower, playing pool, watching television or playing video games.

Celebrity Constellation Food

Celebrity cruises offer a wide variety of gourmet dining options for all tastes. Celebrity Constellation’s main dining room, the San Marco Restaurant, combines live piano music, freshly prepared gourmet cuisine and fabulous ocean views to create the perfect dining experience. For guests looking for something a little more casual, the Seaside Café is home to a pasta bar, pizza, burgers and sushi. Light snacks can be found in the Bistro on Five, while the AquaSpa Café looks after health conscious passengers. Constellation’s two speciality restaurants are both extraordinary culinary events in their own right. The Ocean Liners Restaurant takes guests back to ocean liners of the past with its formal dining style and elegant French fare, while the Tuscan Grille offers authentic Italian pasta dishes as well as perfectly cooked steaks. Room service is of course available twenty-four hours a day.

Celebrity Constellation Staterooms

Following the 2010 upgrade, the staterooms on board Constellation are now on a par with all other Celebrity cruise ships, with sixty per cent of rooms now featuring private terraces offering spectacular views over the ocean. Whatever style of accommodation you choose, you can look forward to a queen bed, well-stocked mini bar, flat screen television, soft bathrobe and spotless en suite facilities. For something really special, the Celebrity Constellation offers many luxury staterooms and suites complete with extras such as whirlpool bathtubs and personal butler service.
