Willis is one of the islands in the Coral Sea Islands Territory and is located just off the coast of Cairns, Australia. It is the only island that is permanently inhabited.
Cairns is located in the north of Queensland, Australia. The city is known particularly for being in close proximity to the Great Barrier Reef, the longest coral reef in the world, also listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site. Daintree tropical forest which is the oldest of it's kind in the world is also only a short distance away. The city itself boasts a laid-back lifestyle with a buzzing social scene evident through the presence of numerous cafés, clubs and restaurants. There are also a number of fantastic tourism resorts, adding to the reputation of Cairns as an Australian tourism hotspot.

Airlie Beach acts as the main hub for trips to the Whitsunday Islands and the Great Barrier Reef. Airlie Beach is known as a popular nightlife spot with a host of clubs and bars. Port of Airlie boasts a boating marina along with a range of accomodation offerings and trendy eateries, which guests to enjoy al fresco dining. Every Saturday there are a number of markets offering fresh produce as well as local crafts, providing a great opportunity to experience the culture like a true local. An excursion to the nearby Conway National Park is highly recommended.
