The Japanese seaside city of Kagoshima lies in a bay on the southwestern tip of the island. The city is sunny and friendly, it has even been voted Japan's friendliest. The very active Sakurajima volcano that sits across the bay is one of the city's main attractions. Hitachinaka is a coastal city located in the Japanese Ibaraki Prefecture, it lays about 110km from Tokyo city. The area surrounding Hitachinaka is a vast park called Hitachi Seaside Park. The park is famous for the 4,5 million baby blue-eyes flowers that bloom every spring, attracting tourists from all over the world. The city itself hosts a number of fireworks festivals every summer, two of which are held right next to the Pacific Ocean, making for a grand view. Hitachinaka is definitely worth a visit.
