Cayman Brac is an island that is part of the Cayman Islands. Its terrain is the most prominent of the three Cayman Islands due to "The Bluff", a limestone outcrop that rises steadily along the length of the island up to 43 m above sea level at the eastern end. The island is named after this prominent feature, as "brac" is a Gaelic name for a bluff. Caves are found around the island, offering spelunkers a glimpse of delicate underground formations. Walking and hiking trails have been opened by the Nature Tourism Programme which allow exploration of the island's dense Karst forestation.

The Mexican island of Cozumel, located in the Caribbean off the coast of the Yucatan peninsula, has a rich ancient history. Even today, visitors from all over the world flock to the island to observe the religious centre and temples that the Maya peoples built on the island centuries ago. Cozumel is also famous for its diving opportunities: Visitors can dive around beautiful coral reefs or to the Underwater Museum of Art.

Costa Maya is a Caribbean tourist area that stretches along the eastern Yucatan Peninsula. The region boasts gorgeous beaches and biosphere reserves with coral reefs, mangroves and jungles that house sharks, dolphins, turtles, jaguars, monkeys and many bird species. On a stop at Progreso, you get off on an extremely long pier... 7km into the Gulf of Mexico! This pier was built a few years ago especially for cruise ships and is one of the newest docks in the area. The city has plenty of shops, restaurants anc cafés, but you could always avoid that and just enjoy the sunshine and sunbathe on the beach!
