Day 1: Arrive Delhi
You will be welcomed by our representative and transferred to your Hotel for Check-In. Enjoy complimentary welcome gifts upon arrival. (Hotel based on The Grand or similar)
Day 2: Delhi to Agra City
After your Breakfast/Check-out, we begin our heritage tour with Old Delhi city. We visit inside India’s oldest & largest mosque Jama Masjid. From here we hop-on local tricycle’s to enjoy your Rickshaw Ridden tour thru narrow streets of bazaar Chandni Chowk. As we ride, we enjoy tasting local pancakes Samosa with Indian delight Jalebi. Enjoy sighting local life in this iconic bazaar, dotted with ancient temples to crammed stores trading everything from ethnic spices to colorful saris. Your rickshaw ride ends outside The Red Fort famed as the historic residence of 1600’s Mughal Dynasty.
From Old Delhi streets, we continue drive you to Agra aka the legacy city of Mughal-Empire and home of Taj Mahal (drive includes enroute stop for clean restrooms). Upon arrival you will be met and taken for Sunset Tour of Taj Mahal from riverside gardens of Mehtab Bagh located on the banks of holy river ‘Yamuna’. After sunset we return to Hotel.
Optional Excursion (paid locally). We take you out to enjoy traditional Barbeque Indian Buffet Dinner at a local restaurant. (Unlimited mixed buffet @ apx. INR 1000 pp). After Dinner we return to Hotel. (Hotel based Radisson Blu or similar)
Day 3: Agra to Jaipur City
We take you on Sunrise Tour of Taj Mahal to explore its beauty in a quite setting. Built by emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his bellowed wife Mumtaz in the 1600’s. Afterwards we We return to Hotel for Breakfast/Check-out.
At approx 0900 We take you for walking tour inside the imperial residence of Mughal dynasty Agra’s Red Fort built in 16th century and today a UNESCO world heritage site. Afterwards we visit a local White Marble Factory to interact with artisans who are also descendants of workers who built Taj Mahal. From them we learn how the intricate marble inlay work is done. From midday We drive you to heritage pink washed city of Jaipur aka the capital of ‘Rajasthan’ state of India. (Drive includes enroute stop for refreshments). Upon arrival you will be met for check-in. (Hotel based on Hotel Trident)
Day 4: Jaipur
We begin our heritage tour as we present to you traditional Turbans & Stolls and hop-on Royal Elephants to climb you up-hill located Amber Fortress. Built in 16th Century by Raja Man Singh I, this fortress is a striking blend of both Hindu & Rajput elements. Inside we explore mirror palace Sheesh Mahal and Royal Courtyards. Afterwards we photo-stop at water palace Jal Mahal located in the center of Man Sagar Lake and home to various migratory birds. This palace is surrounded by Aravalli Hills, Ancient Forts & Temples that makes this a perfect photography spot. Next we explore true Rajasthani architecture, as we visit inside Maharaja’s City Palace & Museum, built by Raja Jai Singh II during the 1700AD and located in the heart of the old city. Here outside the Palace we also taste local delicacies Mango Ice-Cream!
In the afternoon we visit the local City Bazaar Markets where you are free to explore on own. We suggest trying a traditional ‘Kurta’ (Indian top), ‘Juti’ (Indian footwear). Our guide will also accompany you just incase you need a hand in negotiating with locals. From Bazaar we hop-on a local Tuk-Tuk for a ride alongside narrow streets of colorful bazaar, witness heritage landmarks and as we ride we also take a photo-stop outside the Palace of Winds Hawa Mahal. Afterwards we drive-return to Hotel to rest.
Around 1730 We take you to watch a Bollywood Blockbuster at a local cinema Raj Mandir and get entertained by the whistling/hooting of local crowd (being local cinema, films here are 3hrs duration without subtitles, hence we exit at halftime interval).
Optional Excursion (Paid locally). Enjoy Traditional Farewell Indian Buffet Dinner outside. For this evening we visit an actual location of Exotic Marigold Film at Hotel Narain Niwas Palace / Diggi Palace or similar. (unlimited mixed buffet @ apx. INR 1000 pp). (Film hotel is subject to availability). After Dinner we return to Hotel. (Hotel based on Hotel Trident or similar)
Day 5: Jaipur to Delhi City
After Breakfast/Check-out we drive to Delhi and enjoy village scenery enroute. (Drive includes enroute stop for refreshments).
From midday We continue your tour as we drive you to New Delhi city. We visit inside India’s popular Sikhism shrine Bangla Sahib Gurudwara where we visit its holy kitchen Langar. Here throughout you can hear continuous meditations by Sikh Saints welcoming everyone irrespective of cast or creed. Next we visit boulevard Raj Path to witness ‘Sir Edwin Lutyens’ finest works during British Raj of 1920s. Witness Colonial Government Buildings including India Gate, President and Parliament House (fm outside). After tour if time permits we also visit iconic markets of Connaught Place named after the Duke of Connaught and operating since the erstwhile 1920s British Raj Era. Later we return to Hotel for Check-In. (Hotel based on the The Grand or similar)
Day 6: Depart Delhi
After breakfast/check-out we transfer you to Delhi Airport to fly home
