About Quantum of the Seas

Quantum of the Seas is a new and innovative ship from Royal Caribbean International, she will be the first vessel in the fleet’s new Quantum Class.

The Quantum ships will be smaller than the company’s Oasis Class ships (currently the largest passenger ships in the world).  They will offer a range of thrilling new ‘world firsts at sea.’ These features and activities will include:

SeaPlex – a fantastic new sporting venue is set to be the largest indoor activity area at sea!  SeaPlex will be home to a regulation-sized basketball court and holidaymakers will get to enjoy a world-first: a flying trapeze experience at sea!  Hungry guests also get a world first at sea – delicious quick snacks from the onboard ‘Food Truck’.

The North Star – this is one of the most exciting and innovative offerings on Quantum. Holidaymakers will enjoy a trip up 300 meters above sea level in a transparent pod, which offers stunning 350-degree views.  The North Star even goes over the side of the ship! Wow!

Two70° – yet another fabulous new space from Royal Caribbean. This venue will offer interactive experiences both day and night. It is housed over three decks and constructed from floor-to-ceiling glass, giving guests 270° panoramic views of the sea.  Watch out for the cafe too, guests can enjoy new gourmet casual dining options – yum!

Staterooms – Although Quantum is smaller than both the Oasis Class ships, the staterooms will be around 9% larger (on average).  They’ll also feature modern touches, such as USB outlets for charging gadgets!
