Cunard’s “Three Queens” to visit Australia
Australia will be positively over-run with royalty this year – of the nautical variety that is! Cunard are bringing their royal trio, Queen Victoria, Queen Mary 2 and Queen Elizabeth together in the continent for the first time.
The three cruise liners will visit 16 ports across the continent and Sydney and Brisbane will receive all three during their voyages.
Cruise options will range from eight night short cruises to three options of world cruises.
The ultimate in luxury:
The Royal cruise liners really are the ultimate in luxury with grand ballrooms, on-board theatres and a real feeling of reliving the glorious days of 1930s and 1940s cruising. The rich décor includes spotless marble, burnished wood and thick soft carpets. Queen Mary 2 even has a Planetarium on board for taking advantage of those evenings at sea, free of light pollution.
Relax and unwind:
Alongside this fabulous heritage and tradition, the ships have every modern facility that you’d expect from luxury cruising. All three liners have sumptuous spa facilities to relax and unwind, steam rooms and saunas, comfortable seating areas with the most amazing views. The elegant boutiques, grand conservatory and garden room to enjoy delicate pastries and award winning coffee just give you the confirmation that you are here to take it easy and recharge your batteries.
Cunard recently took the three liners to Southampton, England to take part in the Queens’ diamond jubilee celebrations. They made a fantastic sight sailing in line past the headland around dawn, accompanied by a flotilla of little ships and boats. This was the first time all three ships had been in Southampton together, and crowds lined the route to witness the magnificent site.
Take the opportunity to enjoy a Royal break in Australia with Cunard this summer, it will be a voyage of a lifetime.
