What is there to do on board?
There’s never a dull moment on Crystal Serenity – with plenty to keep you occupied, no matter what kind of thing you’re into.
Do a few lengths in one of the ship’s on-board swimming pools (or just relax by the poolside!). One of the pools even has a retractable roof, so you can have a swim whatever the weather. There’s even a golf range, where you can practice your swing at sea! And if you’re in the mood for some pampering, the Crystal Spa offers a number of relaxing health and wellness treatments.
Then there’s the casino, where you can place a few bets on a number of games including roulette, craps, baccarat, blackjack and poker.
If you’re a film fan, the Hollywood Theatre shows a number of recently-released and classic movies for your viewing pleasure.

History of Crystal Serenity
Crystal Serenity is a relatively young cruise ship, built by STX Europe in Saint-Nazaire, France at a cost of around US$350 million. She was laid down in Christened on 3rd July, 2003 by Dame Julie Andrews of ‘The Sound of Music’ fame. Her maiden voyage took place on 7th July 2003 – a 14-day round trip from Southampton visiting Northern Europe.
She has been host to trips around Europe, on the Mediterranean Sea, the Carribean, around Mexico and America, amongst others. The ship has been on several world cruises, including a 104-day trip from Los Angeles.
