Crystal Cruises release their 2014 and spring 2015 cruise schedules.
Crystal Cruises have released the details of their upcoming luxurious worldwide voyages. The cruise schedules include everything from 7 to 89 day itineraries during 2014 and exotic and world cruises during early 2015.
Crystal are stretching their boundaries with 16 maiden port visit for Crystal Symphony and Crystal Serenity in 2014 and a very glamorous, top of the market World Cruise. In early 2015 they already have a further 9 maiden port visits and their celebratory 20th World Cruise.
Looking at the ports of call for the 2014 cruises, Crystal have definitely decided to stretch the boundaries with over 89% of them visiting historical locations such as Tallin, Istanbul, and Dubrovnik. There will also be visits to the more intriguing exotic places such as Cartagena, Takoradi and Casablanca.
Some of the maiden ports they will be visiting include Galway in Ireland, Lombok in Indonesia, Skagen in Denmark and Oban in Scotland.
They are taking a wide variety of cruise lengths in 2014 with 34% of their cruises aimed at the ‘short break’ cruise guests for 10 days or less. Of course, they are still retaining their longer cruises with a full world cruise of 89 days running from January to April for those lucky enough to enjoy it.
In addition to the popular ports, Crystal have decided to return to some of the areas they have not been recently, including ports such as the gorgeous Brunei in Ghana, the exotic Andaman Islands in India, Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia and Korcula in beautiful Croatia.
Taking guests comments on board, they have made sure that the majority of the itineraries include some overnight stays. In addition to the chance to explore the city where the cruise begins, there will usually be a couple of nights stay in exotic places such as Shanghai, Ho Chi Minh City, Yangon or Hong Kong.
Due to its popularity, Crystal will be making double the number of sailings to Asia during 2014, including a round trip cruise from Bangkok over the holiday season. Departing 21 December, Christmas and Hanukkah will be spent in Vietnam and guests will see the New Year in at Hong Kong.
Crystal’s Serenity will be spending the New England and Canada season with visits to Quebec and Boston in 2013. Additional Caribbean cruises will be available with coast to coast Panama Canal voyages and journeys between Miami and Costa Rica.
European sailings will offer a new North Cape option on 14th July, calling at Skagen, Norway for the first time. It will also call at two of the more unique ports of Alta and Kristiansand.
It has proved popular for cruisers to spend their days exploring in port, and Crystal will be offering extensive visits on their cruises with four of their sailings having no sea days at all. Bordeaux will be a popular location in 2013 with their North and South Europe trips calling in on four of their five journeys.
In 2015 Crystal will be celebrating its 25th Anniversary and will have plenty of new luxury cruising itineraries. January to mid-April have already been announced with visits to new port such as the stunning Ambodifototra and Tolanaro in Madagascar, Albany in Australia, Sanya in China and Richards Bay in South Africa.
Crystal prides itself in visiting the less obvious places and many of their guests will not have been to Alter do Chao in Brazil, Maputo in Mozambique or Yantai in China before!
