Why you should visit Brazil

Brazil is one of the largest countries in the world, and as you might expect, that means a diverse range of cultures and plenty of sights and experiences to take in.

One thing that strikes many people about Brazil is the quality of the beaches. While many are densely populated, many others are preserved ecological sanctuaries. In total, Brazil’s shoreline is host to more than 200,000 beaches.

Of course, the beaches are far from the only beautiful sight you’ll see in Brazil. The Amazon rainforest covers vast swathes of the country, and there are 62 national parks and hundreds of conservation areas here. You’ll get to see exotic foliage and fascinating wildlife in its natural habitat.

Brazil is a country that loves a celebration, and if you visit at the right time of year you can see Carnival, a country-wide festival. Cities across the country put on a real party in the streets, and it’s an experience you’ll never forget.

Another thing Brazil is known for is its food. Barbecued meat is probably the most famous style of food, but you’ll find practically any kind of food you can care to mention. Brazil is home to a number of food festivals, too, such as Brasil Sabor and Comida de Buteco.

Then there are the many famous landmarks: Sugarloaf Mountain, the statue of Christ the Redeemer, Copacabana Beach, and of course the Amazon River.
