Hailed as America’s most coveted cocktail connoisseur, Van Flandern will hand craft an imaginative new complimentary bar menu set to debut across the entire Seabourn fleet. As well as developing a line-up of new artisan cocktails, Brian will also spend time re-inventing the on-board spirits inventory, and training bar staff in both classic and contemporary mixology skills and techniques.
Reimagining the F&B experience, one cocktail at a time
It’s all part of the luxury centric food and beverage development currently transforming the line’s fine dining experience, according to John Delaney, Seabourn’s Senior Vice President of Global Marketing and Sales.
“We are honoured to bring Brian’s creative talents on board our ships,” he said. “Upgrading our complimentary bar and cocktail offerings is another enhancement to our product, and we are confident that these unique touches will continue to elevate our award-winning culinary experience. A focus on local produce
Spotlighting fresh produce, fine botanicals and the art of flavour profiling, Van Flandern will craft a bespoke hand crafted cocktail menu that celebrates the Seabourn’s global destinations. Sourcing produce from local markets, it’s a fantastic way for passengers to literally sip on the flavours of the destinations they visit.

Plus, they’ll also get to experience the creative genius of what the Food Network refer to as “America’s Top Mixologist”. Featured at Thomas Keller’s illustrious New York restaurant Per Se, competing at the Bois Mix Masters Championship, winning first place at the United States Bartenders Guild Iron Bar Chef Competition and making an appearance in a host of TV shows, Van Flandern has earned himself legendary status behind the bar.
For Van Flandern, the new partnership represents an opportunity to celebrate the cocktail revival, and help Seabourn retain its status as a line that refuses to compromise on quality.
