P&O Cruises has big plans for 2015 with the announcement that Pacific Aria and Pacific Eden will feature an exciting new dining concept designed to tantalise the taste buds of their passengers. Rather than the traditional buffet style spread, P&O’s newest vessels will house an array of restaurants, cafés and bars serving up a diverse selection of cuisine.
Fresh, fancy and everything in-between
The Pantry is at the core of the concept and will feature unique dining options including a gourmet delicatessen, Pan-Asian restaurant, Italian eatery and boutique winery where guests can taste and purchase fine wines. Luke Mangan’s wildly popular Salt Grill will also make an appearance, accompanied by an all-new Salt Grill Bar which will be shaking up Mangan’s signature cocktails.
Dining in style
As well as mouth-watering cuisine, passengers will also be able to feast their eyes on The Pantry’s incredibly chic interior design job, led by illustrious Scandinavian company, Tillberg Design of Sweden. The up-to—the-minute look features communal benches, high tables and banquette style counters.
Tammy Marshall, P&O’s senior vice president explains, “It will be a haven for food lovers, offering a contemporary relaxed vibe as guests indulge and discover what’s in The Pantry. Guests on Pacific Aria and Pacific Eden will enjoy a dining experience like no other, with our fresh food and stunning décor transforming the way cruise guests dine at sea.”
