The company will install a Miami-themed Ice Bar onto Getaway, where passengers will sample Florida-inspired SVEDKA specialty cocktails and Inniskillin Ice Wine.
Norwegian has just announced that the company will be installing a true ‘ice bar’ onboard their newest ship Norwegian Getaway.
The SVEDKA/Inniskillin Ice Bar will be kept at 17 degrees Fahrenheit and will feature 3-D icy elements inspired by Miami, the place where Getaway will be home-ported year round. Lucky holidaymakers visiting the Ice Bar will enjoy the Art Deco-style decor before they’re be reminded of Miami Beach’s famous Ocean Drive, as the famous skyline is etched into the icy walls. There’s also a ‘Welcome to Miami Beach” sign and a life-size alligator throne made entirely from ice!
Norwegian say the frozen chamber is guaranteed to give guests the ultimate chill – and it’s easy to see why – not only are the surroundings made from ice, the entire bar, seating and glassware are made of ice too! Brr!
About the Ice Bar:
The SVEDKA/Inniskillin Ice Bar will accommodate only 25 guests at a time. Those visiting the bar will need to don hooded coats and gloves to keep warm in the arctic-like temperatures. The Ice Bar can be reserved from 5.30-10.30pm each night. It costs $20 per person, which includes entry and two signature cocktails served in specially created glasses made entirely from ice.

The menu is Florida-themed, offering five speciality drinks made from SVEDKA vodka and Inniskillin ice wine, including:
- Tropicana: SVEDKA citron vodka, triple sec, lemon juice;
