Rudi Sodaman’s Master Chef’s Table dining experience was voted best at sea by Porthole Magazine’s Editor-in-Chief.
Last month, Holland America Line’s Master Chef’s Table won the prestigious “Best Dining Experience” accolade, awarded by Bill Panoff, the Editor-in-Chief of Porthole Magazine. The Master Chef’s Table experience was designed and put together by Rudi Sodamin, a highly regarded chef in the gourmet dining world.
After learning of the award bestowed upon his Master Chef’s Table dining experience, Rudi said:
“For Bill Panoff to once again recognize the Master Chef’s Table experience as the finest at sea is deeply rewarding and an incredible honour. Holland America Line gives me an exciting canvas on which to create new culinary opportunities for our guests and to continuously reinvent the way we present our cuisine.”

What is The Master Chef’s Table Dining Experience?
This magical culinary event is a must for budding gastronomers! During the evening, up to 18 guests will be presented with seven courses, each delivered by a special culinary expert, who will host the dinner during the evening. The host wears a very special uniform, which is designed to resemble an elegant chef’s jacket.
Each meal is served with a wine, paired by an expert sommelier and hand picked for its complimenting taste and characteristics.
Guests will eat at an elegantly designed table, and food is eaten from fine Versace china.
