Last week Celebrity Cruises announced that in 2014-15 their ‘Modern Luxury’ vessels will sail to all seven continents on ‘Celebrity’s World Tour.’
The company are set to unveil plenty of details about the World Tour itineraries over the next weeks – they are promising more ports of call and plenty of overnight stays – 245 ports of call in 74 countries.
A range of once-in-a-lifetime land-based excursions will also be launched as part of the initiative; these fantastic adventures have been dubbed “Celebrity Exclusives.” The Exclusives will feature personalised experiences for individuals or groups of less than 15. Highlights include a VIP hospitality package at the 2014 British Open Golf Tournament, and sailing around Mykonos on a private yacht.
Details released about Celebrity Cruise Line’s 2014-15 World Tour so far:
Celebrity Silhouette will sail across Europe and Africa, departing on a 14-night round trip from Italy. There will be overnight stays in Egypt and Israel, with visits to Turkey, Greece, Sicily and Italy.
Celebrity Infinity will sail for 14-nights out of Buenos Aires, Argentina, setting sail for Chile, Antarctica, Falkland Islands and Uruguay. After, Infinity will then set sail on a 14-night voyage of South America commencing with an overnight stay in Buenos Aires, then calling into Uruguay, Argentina and sailing through the Straits of Magellan and the Chilean Fjords before ending in Chile.
Celebrity Millennium will depart on 14-night itineraries out of Singapore. There will be overnight stops in Singapore, Bangkok, Vietnam and Hong Kong.
Celebrity Solstice will return to Australia, where she will embark on 12-night trips around the country, before heading over to New Zealand.
Then Solstice will set sail to Alaska, where she will sail around North America.
The company’s newest ship, Celebrity Reflection will sail on an 11-night roundtrip through the Mediterranean, out of Italy and call into ports at Greece, Italy and Turkey.
Celebrity Summit will sail on 7-night voyages to Bermuda on a round-trip out of Cape Liberty, New Jersey, or you can make this trip on a one-way sailing from San Juan with stops in St. Maarten, St. Thomas, Tortola and King’s Wharf on the way to Cape Liberty.
Then during peak season, Summit will sail 14-night cruises around Canada and New England, also out of Cape Liberty in New Jersey. This voyage will call at Portland, Bar Harbor, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, Quebec City, Newfoundland and more.
To make the “World Tour” extra special for guests, Celebrity are laying on a “Destination Concierge” on their 2014 routes, which will allow passengers to speak to a port expert who will guide them through their land experience.
Captain’s Club members will have first access to booking the exclusive excursions with Priority Access.
