Hong Kong Cruise Deals

Enjoying a unique vantage point at the centre of Asia’s cruising map, Hong Kong cruises offer the perfect base from which to enjoy all of Asia’s most fabulous destinations, such as China, Korea, Japan, Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore and the Philippines, all of which can feature on an Asian cruising itinerary. Wherever you end up visiting, however, a cruise to Hong Kong is sure to be a highlight.

Despite this advantage of being in close proximity to everything else, Hong Kong is very much a worthy destination in its own right, and is a popular destination when it comes to a short pre or post-cruise holiday. The city offers an interesting fusion of East and West cultures, while gleaming modern skyscrapers line up alongside beautiful old temples. Be prepared to enjoy an authentic Hong Kong experience as your cruise ship docks right next door to the locals own more modest crafts.

Hong Kong is also a place of great historical interest, with visitors able to enjoy a tour on the century old Star Ferry to the fantastic vantage point of Kowloon, where the stunning Hong Kong skyline sprawls beneath you. Kowloon is also home to some fantastic local shops along Nathan Road, while there is also the opportunity to take part in hiking, horse racing and sailing activities. Delicious local cuisine can be found along Lan Kwai Fong, with a fine choice of stylish restaurants and lively bars available. Even more spectacular views can be had from the top of Victoria Peak, where the whole of Kowloon and Hong Kong Island provide the perfect backdrop for a memorable holiday photograph. These are just a few of the amazing experiences on offer to you on a cruise to Hong Kong.

One of Hong Kong’s prettiest attractions is found in the form of the splendid Po Lin Monastery, famously home to the world’s largest outdoor seated bronze Buddha. For a spot of Hong Kong culture, the Sam Tung UK Museum in the New Territories is an informative place to visit, while Stanley Market is home to all manner of Chinese artwork, clothing and souvenir stalls. A further highlight is found in Macau; the former colony features stunning Baroque churches, historic temples, interesting museums and the ruins of the St. Paul Cathedral.
