Description

Uniworld River Cruises’ regal boutique liner, River Queen, is a beautiful vessel that first set sail in 1999, and has since undergone a full refurbishment in 2010. The wonderful exterior has been maintained, however, harking back to the luxury liners of the 1930’s. River Queen sails through the rivers of some of the most fascinating countries in Europe, including Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, Switzerland and France.

Uniworld River Queen Entertainment & Dining

River Queen has joined many other Uniworld River Cruise ships in achieving recognition as ‘one of the world’s top small cruise ships’ in the Condé Nast Traveller’s 2010 Reader’s Poll. She holds more than enough in the way of entertainment to keep guests occupied for the duration of their stay, with the full bar in the main lounge proving a highlight for many. The Sun Deck offers the chance to relax in the sunshine and participate in deck games such as chess and shuffleboard. Further amenities include the restful library and games room, fully-equipped fitness centre, sauna and steam room, boutique shopping and the cosy Captain’s Lounge.

Whichever country you happen to be cruising through, you will surely delight in the many shore excursions provided by River Queen, each of which is supplemented by a helpful lecture packed with facts about the next city on the itinerary. Passengers can also borrow a bicycle or set of Nordic walking sticks to assist them in accessing as much of the area as possible. For dinner, guests are invited into the open seat dining room to sample a menu comprised of creative dishes that showcase the finest local ingredients.

Uniworld River Queen Accommodation

Passengers have a choice of sixty-six splendid staterooms or four luxury suites during their stay on board River Queen.
