Set to hit the high seas in the summer of 2011, Silhouette shares many features with Celebrity’s popular Solstice class of ships (featuring Solstice, Equinox and Eclipse), with a weight of 122,000 tonnes and spanning 1,033 feet long. Silhouette is well-equipped to ferry her 2,850 passengers to some of Celebrity’s most exciting destinations.

Celebrity Silhouette Recreation

What you do on board Silhouette is really up to, but as with any Celebrity cruise the ship offers much to delight and entertain, from the fabulous AquaSpa and the Solarium to the beautiful Persian Garden and the country club atmosphere of the Lawn Club and its half-acre of perfectly tended grass. In the evenings, guests can sample one of Silhouette’s many bars and lounges, take a gamble in the casino or relax and enjoy of the shows at the Silhouette theatre, featuring live music and comedy.

Alternatively, passengers can enjoy the art gallery, library and wine bar, while for a truly interactive experience Galleria Tastings affords guests a sample of some fantastic food, drink, fashion and art.

Celebrity Silhouette Food

The Solstice class of ships feature more dining options than any other Celebrity cruise. As always with Celebrity, the main dining room is the place to go for traditional cruise set dining, with exquisite food served by professional staff on board the Celebrity Silhouette. However, there are many other options, the first of these being the exclusive Blu restaurant, reserved especially for AquaClass passengers. The fabulous Murano restaurant serves guests four course fine dining with a spectacular ocean view available through the large windows. Italian delights can be found at the Tuscan Grille, while Osine prides itself on serving “uniquely unordinary” cuisine.

For light meals such as freshly made sandwiches and crepes, Bistro on Five is the place to go, while AquaSpa serves healthy options. The Mast Grill and Bar serves magnificent burgers by the pool, while the Oceanview Café is perfect for a cafeteria-style sit down meal.

Celebrity Silhouette Staterooms

One thing a guest on board Silhouette is guaranteed is luxury in all of her staterooms. With ninety per cent of cabins offering a fantastic ocean view and eighty-five per cent featuring private balconies, Celebrity Silhouette maintains the standard set by other Celebrity liners in well-appointed, comfortable accommodation. Every kind of stateroom, including inside cabins, ocean view rooms and balcony rooms, offers queen-size beds, a 32-inch LCD television, hair dryer, sitting area, and an attractive en suite bathroom with shower. Most classes of suite accommodation offer additional features such as an expanded room service menu and priority check-in.
