In 2010, Felicity was welcomed into the Avalon Waterways cruise fleet. She carries up to 138 passengers one of the fantastic Avalon Waterways Rhine itineraries, between the fascinating cities of Amsterdam in the Netherlands and Basle in Switzerland.
Avalon Waterways Felicity Entertainment
Before you reach each of the fantastic destinations featured on your Avalon Waterways cruise, you can take advantage of the informative on board lectures, while once you arrive you are welcome to use the helpful local tour guides. Whilst you are on board Felicity, there are plenty of ways to relax and enjoy yourself. The Sky Deck is a marvellous place to sit and enjoy the sunshine, or take a dip in the refreshing whirlpool. The ship also houses an excellent fitness centre and hair salon, while you can keep up with your relatives back home using the Wi-Fi connectivity in the Internet Corner.
In the evenings, Felicity lays on fun nightly entertainment, while there are a handful of bars and lounges to spend the evening in. The Club Lounge is a very warm and elegant setting to enjoy a drink in, while the Sky Lounge is the ideal spot to appreciate the marvellous city views.

Guests can be sure of a fantastic dining experience every night on board Felicity, with Avalon Waterways going to great lengths to make everything special. Your opening night will be filled by a sumptuous welcome feast and a lovely Captain’s Reception featuring sparkling wine and canapés. A buffet breakfast is served each morning, while guests can have their eggs cooked just as they like them by the special egg station, or alternatively they can simply have a filling continental breakfast delivered to their room.
Lunch is also a buffet, while Avalon Waterways Felicity lays on a lovely afternoon tea every day in the main dining room. At dinner time, passengers can look forward to a beautiful four-course banquet comprised of regional recipes and the finest local ingredients. On your final night, Felicity presents a special five-course farewell meal to end your cruise in style.
Avalon Waterways Felicity Accommodation
Felicity is home to sixty-five excellent staterooms and four lavish Avalon Waterways suites. All staterooms provide guests with two picture windows offering a view over the river, a lovely en suite bathroom with shower, writing desk, hairdryer, flat screen satellite television, air conditioning and plenty of storage space under the bed and in the large three-door wardrobe. Passengers can also choose their bed configuration and whether they would like hard or soft pillows, while the
Avalon Waterways turn-down team make sure your bed is ready for you when you return from the days exertions. A portion of Felicity’s staterooms offer a balcony.
All four of Felicity’s suites offer a spacious private balcony, as well as much more room in the main living area. Suites contain a separate sitting area featuring a lovely settee and coffee table.

The Avalon Waterways cruise fleet offer a combination of staterooms and suite accommodation. In most cases staterooms far outnumber suites, with the majority of ships featuring only a handful of exclusive luxury suites. The exception is Panorama, Avalon Waterways’ stunning new suite-only ship.
All staterooms offer high levels of luxury and comfort, with each presenting the guest with a picture window view, lovely en suite bathroom with shower, writing desk, flat screen television, bathrobe and slippers, hairdryer, mini-bar and air conditioning. Passengers can also look forward to an abundance of storage space, a choice of twin or queen-size beds and a selection of nine different pillow types.
Suites offer a higher level of luxury, with more space to enjoy, a pleasant balcony area and a comfortable separate seating area.

On board each ship, guests can look forward to a selection of fantastic amenities and activities to keep them entertained as they cruise between each port. The Sky Deck is a beautiful area to relax in the sun on one of the many loungers, while many ships also feature an indulgent whirlpool.
