Following the success of their wonderful Aria Class of ships, APT Cruising presents Amabella, the first of their marvellous Concerto Class. Launched in 2010, guests can look forward to enjoying APT’s eighty-six itineraries across thirty-three European countries.

APT Cruising Amabella Entertainment & Dining

Passengers on board Amabella can expect to enjoy fantastic sightseeing opportunities throughout their voyage, while evening entertainment is provided in the ship’s lounge areas. Of all the entertaining corners found on Amabella, the Sun Deck is perhaps the most popular of all, with a selection of sun loungers accompanied by a marvellous heated pool. The Sun Deck also has the advantage of being the highest point of the ship, making it ideal for enjoying the views.

Indoors, APT’s Amabella offers guests a choice of entertaining locations, with the Observation Lounge a unique vantage point for watching as you approach the next port. The Main Lounge houses the Amabella bar, while passengers can also enjoy a putting green, wine bar, hair and beauty salon, massage room, sauna, fitness centre and library.

Amabella also offers a splendid array of dining options, with eateries including the Verde Fine Dining Restaurant, Erlebnis Chef’s Table Restaurant and Bella Cucina Restaurant.

APT Cruising Amabella Accommodation

Guests travelling on the APT Cruising Concerto Class can choose from Twin Balcony Suites, Private Balcony Suites and Owner’s Suites, which APT Cruising are proud to announce as the largest suites available on European river cruises. No rooms are found close to the engine, so passengers are sure of a good night’s sleep.

Each room provides a comfortable queen-size bed, en suite bathroom with shower, large wardrobe, flat screen television and a personal computer with high speed Wi-Fi access. Owner’s Suites provide extras such as a separate bath, mini bar and delightful seating area.

APT Cruising Description

Australia Pacific Touring have been providing some of the finest river cruises available since as far back as the 1920’s, ever since founder Bill McGeary set up the business to combat an inconvenient tram strike in Melbourne. APT really came to the fore in the Sixties and Seventies, and to this day continues to offer fabulous cruise itineraries along some of the most famous rivers in the world, all conducted on their luxurious fleet of well-appointed cruise liners.

APT Cruising Destinations

Guests can choose from a great many impressive destinations when travelling with APT, such as the many marvellous waterways of Europe, Asia and Egypt. Below are just some of the itineraries available;

• An array of European itineraries, including France, specialised Provence cruises, Spain, Portugal and the Douro Valley, Russia and Helsinki.
• Cruises along Asia’s magnificent Mekong River, which is the tenth largest in the world and traverses a total of six countries, including China.
• An Egyptian cruise along the Nile, spanning from Luxor to Aswan.

APT Cruising Accommodation

The APT Cruising fleet provides splendid accommodation that ensures all guests can enjoy a restful night’s sleep. One of the main reasons for this is APT’s insistence that no staterooms or suites should be located near to the ship’s engine, thus allowing all passengers entirely uninterrupted slumbers throughout their voyage.

Each ship provides a combination of well-appointed staterooms and luxurious suites for you to enjoy, with APT’s own fleet providing a comfortable bed, stylish en suite bathroom with shower, flat screen television, personal computer with Wi-Fi access, spacious wardrobe and in many cases a marvellous private balcony. APT Cruising is also proud to offer cruises on many ships belonging to other cruise lines, all of which offer a similarly high standard of amenities and comfort.

APT Cruising Entertainment & Dining

Much of the APT fleet is comprised of the excellent Aria Class, which offers a great deal of marvellous ways to keep occupied during your voyage. All the ships feature a Sun Deck, home to a superb whirlpool and a collection of loungers, while indoors there is a choice of three lounges, offering a full bar and stunning views across the river, a hair and beauty salon, sauna, massage room and fitness centre. There are various on shore excursions at each port, while dining consists of fantastic meals served in the elegant fine dining restaurant.

On other classes of APT ship and those vessels used in partnership with other cruise operators, guests can of course expect slightly different amenities. Some ships offer a pool on deck, while others offer an outdoor bar and slightly modified lounge areas. Naturally, the on shore excursions will differ depending on where you are going, while the cuisine served during your holiday is also tailored to reflect your itinerary.
