Seabourn acquired its third intimate ship in 1996. Seabourn Legend, like its sisters, was built in Bremerhaven, Germany at the Schichau Seebeckwerft shipyard. Originally launched as Royal Viking Queen for the prestigious Royal Viking Line, Seabourn Legend was re-christened by Linn Brynestad, Seabourn founder Atle Brynestad’s wife. Along with their all-suite accommodations and renowned personalized service, Seabourn’s ships also garner consistent acclaim for the award-winning dining on board. Under the expert guidance of celebrity chef Charlie Palmer, Seabourn ships deliver superb cuisine that rivals the finest restaurants anywhere. From French fries to foie gras, every dish receives the expert attention of highly skilled and imaginative chefs. The finest ingredients are selected with care, perfectly prepared to your order, and served with pride. The Restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner in an open-seating style that invites guests to dine where, when and with whom they choose. The Veranda Café is a more casual, indoor/outdoor venue serving lavish buffets for breakfast and luncheon. In the evening, the Veranda Café becomes Restaurant 2, alternately serving innovative tasting menus and regionally-themed dinners with table service. The Sky Grill, at the popular alfresco Sky Bar, hosts occasional themed luncheons, and dinners of grilled specialties under the stars. Festive Deck Barbecue dinners and signature Caviar in the Surf beach parties are highlights on many cruises. And guests are welcome to order from The Restaurant menu and have their dinners served, course by course, in their suites if they wish. There is never an extra charge for any dining on Seabourn. |

Seabourn Odyssey is the first in a new-class of ships for Seabourn that will accommodating just 450 guests in 225 luxury suites. Although, at 32,000 GRT, Seabourn Odyssey is more than triple the size of Seabourn Pride, Seabourn Spirit and Seabourn Legend, she was the smallest new ship being built by any major cruise line, and her guest capacity is just twice that of the smaller sisters, creating the highest space-per-guest ratio in the industry. Seabourn Odyssey was built by the Italian company T. Mariotti S.p.A., located in Genoa, Italy and named in Venice in June of 2009. On that occasion, the guests on board for the maiden voyage were all honored as the ship’s godparents, and a plaque with their names was permanently mounted on a wall inside the ship. Seabourn Odyssey was designed by the same architectural team, Petr Yran and Bjorn Storbraaten, who designed the original Seabourn ships. Seabourn Odyssey’s 225 ocean-view suites are divided into 13 categories, with interior measurements from 295 to over 1,200 square feet. Ninety percent have private verandas, which add from 65 to over 350 square feet of additional private living space. Highlights in accommodations are the exceptional Wintergarden Suites, which have a private glassed-in Solarium with a soaking tub and a lunging bed. This suite also features a veranda that is bowed out, giving wonderful views long the side of the ship. The Signature Suites, located all the way forward on Deck 7, have over 900 square feet of inside space and a spectacular wrap-around veranda of 353 square feet. In addition to more larger suites, Seabourn Odyssey’s additional size is utilized to create more open deck space, and a variety of public rooms and dining venues. |

The ship that started it all inspired one critic to declare that “Seabourn is in a class by itself.” And in 1988, when the sleek, 10,000-ton Pride emerged from the Schichau Seebeckwerft shipyard in Bremerhaven, Germany, that was literally true. At that time, most ships of Pride’s size (and there were more then than now) carried more than 400 guests. Seabourn Pride, christened by Ambassador Shirley Temple Black, topped out at half that many. The idea that every guest sailed in an expansive, ocean-view suite was revolutionary. The concept of open-seating dining accommodating all guests was exceptional. And the notion of including nearly everything for the cost of the fare was a rare thing as well. But the most important element of the Seabourn experience, to founding president Warren S. Titus, was the unparalleled level of personalized service provided to guests. Hand-picked staff, recruited from the finest European hospitality schools and hostelries, are re-trained and managed according to the philosophy that every request is a golden opportunity to create delight, that the unexpected pleasure is what truly makes an experience memorable, and that the rendering of the very best service is a product of professional pride, not influenced by the expectation of a gratuity. That remains a core value of all Seabourn ships today. By a trick of history, Seabourn Pride and its sisters remain as exceptional today as they were when launched – in a class by themselves. |

Seabourn Quest is the third iteration of the vessel design that has been called “a game-changer for the luxury segment.” Built at the T. Mariotti shipyard in Genoa, she was named in Barcelona on June 20, 2011. True to her Seabourn bloodlines, wherever she sails around the world, Seabourn Quest carries with her a bevy of award-winning dining venues that are comparable to the finest restaurants to be found anywhere. Under the guidance of celebrity chef Charlie Palmer, Seabourn Quest offers a variety of dining options to suit every taste and every mood, with never an extra charge. The Restaurant is the main dining venue on board, serving multi-course breakfasts, luncheons and dinners in an open-seating style amid a refined setting of gleaming white linens, polished alabaster walls, flowing sheer draperies and glittering crystal chandeliers. Menus reflect Chef Palmer’s insistence on fresh, high-quality ingredients, masterful preparation and appealing presentations. In a signature Seabourn salute to personalization, guests are invited to order from the Restaurant menu during extended service hours, and have their meal served in the privacy of their suites or on their verandas. Located all the way aft on Deck 8, the Colonnade is a more casual, very popular indoor/outdoor option serving lavish station-style buffet breakfasts and lunches. Dinners in the Colonnade are regionally-themed menus prepared in the open kitchen and served at table. Restaurant 2 is an intimate setting where guests can enjoy innovative small-plates tasting menus nightly by reservation. The Patio Grill is a casual alternative offering poolside dining for luncheons and dinners, as well as freshly baked pizzas from its on-site oven all afternoon. Festive beach barbecues are frequent highlights on warm-water cruises, with lavish steak-and-seafood grills and Seabourn’s Signature Caviar in the Surf event. A comprehensive selection of delicious items from appetizers to scrumptious desserts is available for in-suite service 24 hours a day. |

Seabourn Sojourn |

The second of Seabourn’s new class of ships, Seabourn Sojourn, was also built at T. Mariotti yard in Genoa. Her debut was on June 6, 2010 in the middle of the River Thames in London. Seabourn Sojourn’s godmother was the English fashion icon and actress Twiggy. Like her sisters, Seabourn Sojourn enchants her guests with an array of public areas scaled to encourage a relaxed sociability. One of the most unusual features of Seabourn Sojourn and her sisters is Seabourn Square, an ingenious “living room” that replaces the traditional cruise ship lobby with a welcoming lounge filled with easy chairs, sofas and cocktail tables. An enclave in its center houses knowledgeable concierges discreetly seated at individual desks, ready to handle all sorts of business or give advice and information. The ship’s shops are conveniently located just off the Square and it has its own open terrace aft. The Spa at Seabourn is the largest on any ultra-luxury ship, 11,400 square feet encompassing indoor and outdoor space over two decks. A variety of open terraces are scattered over seven decks, offering places to gather with a few friends or spend an isolated hour with a book. Seabourn Sojourn offers six whirlpools and two swimming pools, including the Pool Patio, with a pair of large whirlpool spas and a “beach” style pool, a casual Patio Grill and the Patio Bar. On the sun deck above sits Seabourn’s popular open-air Sky Bar. High atop Deck 11 is a Sun Terrace with 36 tiered double sun beds. Just aft of that is The Retreat, with shuffleboard courts and a nine-hole putting green. The panoramic Observation Bar on Deck 10 offers 270? forward views over the sea. The Club is a lively spot for dancing before and after dinner, while the larger Grand Salon is used for dancing as well as lectures, production vocal shows, cabaret performances and classical recitals. |

Seabourn Spirit |

The second of Seabourn’s intimate, all-suite vessels was launched in November, 1989. Built at the Schichau Seebeckwerft shipyard in Bremerhaven, Germany, Seabourn Spirit was christened by Aagot Brynestad, the mother of Seabourn founder Atle Brynestad. Seabourn Spirit’s 104 ocean-view suites quickly filled with eager travelers, attracted by the unique combination of features that had garnered praises for its sister-ship Seabourn Pride. A variety of lounges and bars, scaled for relaxed sociability, invite guests to get to know each other. Complimentary service of fine wines and spirits contributes to a convivial, club-like atmosphere both here and on the open teak decks, where guests find plenty of comfortable seating both in the sun and shade, and ever-attentive service including full bar service, fresh fruit smoothies and sherbets, mineral water spritzes, frozen towels and even sun lotion and sunglass cleaning. A pair of large whirlpool spas grace the sun deck, and a third one is set all the way forward on Deck 5, perfect for watching the world go by . On certain days in warm water destinations, the captain will anchor off an inviting stretch of beach and deploy the ship’s unique fold-out watersports Marina, creating a private island resort where guests can water-ski, sail, swim or snorkel right from the ship. Each Seabourn sister has a main show lounge capable of seating all guests, and an observation lounge with panoramic views on Deck 8 above the navigation bridge. The Club is a popular location for dancing before and after dinner, and into the night. Public rooms on Seabourn Pride, Seabourn Spirit and Seabourn Legend were extensively refurbished in 2010 with a fresh, contemporary flair that keeps them at the top of the rankings in the luxury cruise category. |

Attire for the evening
The Restaurant. It will be specified as one of the following:
Elegant Casual: Slacks with a jacket over a sweater or shirt for men; sundress, skirt or trousers a sweater or blouse for women.
Black Tie (optional): Tuxedo (alternatively a dark suit) for men; evening gown or other formal attire for women.
The Veranda Cafe. Always offering guests a more casual dining experience, it will be specified as one of the following:
Casual: Slacks and a sweater or shirt for men; skirt or trousers with a sweater or blouse for women.
Attire for Daytime On all Seabourn cruises the general shipboard atmosphere is elegant but relaxed, and you will enjoy dressing comfortably while indulging in a variety of moods.
Elegant casual wear is preferred for The Restaurant. Shorts and other more casual attire are welcomed in the Veranda Cafe during breakfast and lunch. Swimsuits, brief shorts, exercise clothing and cover-ups should be reserved for poolside lounging, deck activities and the fitness centre or The Spa.
Attire on Shore When planning your cruise wardrobe for any climate, layering your clothes will work best. For tropical cruises, bring light, loose-fitting garments that can be paired with a lightweight jacket or sweater. For cooler seasons or climates, pack extra layers or warmer garments such as a light topcoat and some sweaters.
When dressing to go ashore, it is helpful to be aware of the customs of the countries you are visiting. In some ports men and women should not wear shorts. May cultures prefer that women wear dresses or skirts when visiting shrines, Churches and temples. If your cruise takes you to Monte Carlo, casino dress codes require a jacket and tie for men. Once you are on board, Seabourn’s well versed staff members offer informative talks on local customs. Additional hints can be found in the Shore Excursion Information Booklet that you will receive with your cruise documentation.
Celebrity chef & dining
Honoured with a first place Diamond Award for food service for the 10th time at the 2004 On board Service Awards, the star-quality of our cuisine is legendary. Fresh seasonal ingredients and distinctive a la minute preparation play the leading roles, supported by playfully aesthetic presentations of classic and eclectic offerings inspired by the regions of the world we visit.
Soon you will be singing the praises of Charlie Palmer, two-time James Beard Award winner and the creative force behind this consistently stellar cuisine. His culinary virtuosity is showcased in a wide variety of specially-created signature dishes, including lighter fare worthy of the finest spas.
Renowned for their mastery in the kitchen, our chefs also delight in chatting with guests. If by chance you mention a fondness for souffle, do not be surprised at being treated to a different flavour every night. Our selection of complimentary red and white wines exquisitely complements lunch and dinner daily. Avid oenophiles will appreciate our discretionary boutique wine list.
Every excels at making you feel special , whether you are a single guest invited to dine at staff-hosted table or the flattered recipient of an unexpected special dessert made in your honour.

International travel documents
Vaccination/immunization requirements vary considerably depending on the area of the world visited, and are subject to change at any time. We suggest that guests travelling outside of their country of residence consider immunization against Hepatitis A, Typhoid, Polio, Diphtheria and Tetanus. An international certificate, approved by the World Health Organisation, is the best medium for verification that inoculations and vaccinations have been satisfactorily performed, and is accepted by health officials at all ports of call. In view of the widespread destinations visited by Seabourn and the frequent changes with respect to health requirements, guests are strongly advised to contact their physician a minimum of two months in advance of travel for expert medical immunization recommendations for their intended itinerary and travel plans. Guest may also check Department of Health requirements online at www.doh.gov.uk.
