North Star Cruises Accommodation

North Star splits its accommodation across three decks, with all offering ocean views, featuring either king-size beds or spacious singles. Guests can choose from the upper deck Explorer Class, the middle deck River Class and the Lower Deck Ocean Class. All cabins feature large flat screen televisions and comfortable en suite bathrooms, while the roomier Explorer Class features a well-stocked mini bar.

North Star Cruises Entertainment and Dining

North Star Cruises offer a standard of entertainment unlike any other, with six dedicated expedition vessels able to ferry small groups of passengers away on fishing and diving expeditions throughout your cruise. All fishing is done responsibly, while all guests must bring their own diving equipment. The ship also features a spacious sun deck, forward-facing observation lounge and ship’s lounge, as well as an al fresco bar and internet café. By far the most exciting feature of a North Star Cruises voyage, however, is the prospect of flying up in the on board helicopter for a magnificent bird’s eye view of your extraordinary surroundings.

Dining with North Star Cruises is a thoroughly rewarding experience, with guests given the freedom to dine as they please. Fabulous Australian cuisine is featured, and in the case of much of the seafood it is likely that the guests will have had a hand in catching or collecting it themselves, rendering it as fresh as it could possibly be. Sumptuous hors d’oeuvres are served daily in the ship’s lounge. Specialities include oysters, freshly prepared sashimi, barramundi, Angus and Wagyu beef, or the best of Australian lamb. The North Star cruise ‘heli-picnics’ are a real treat, with fantastic barbecue food such as king prawns, squid, pearl meat and smoked salmon.
