Caribbean Cruises

There are few more popular destinations for sun-seekers than the Caribbean. With its stunning beaches and the waves from the crystal clear sea lapping at the shore, the Caribbean is seen as the pinnacle of luxurious sunshine paradise. However, there is more to a Caribbean cruise than the beach, with beautiful architecture, world renowned golf courses and fabulous island excursions all presented against the backdrop of one of the most famously friendly welcomes found anywhere in the world.
The Western Caribbean offers the visitor a vast expanse of lush tropical rainforest, as well as the spectacular ruins of the ancient civilisations of Cozumel. Other sites of interest include the pretty town of Labadee, the enjoyable craft market in Ochos Rios and the famed Seven Mile Beach. For something different, try snorkelling with stingrays at the Stingray City Sandbar in Georgetown. You can do all of this and more on a cruise to the Caribbean.
Meanwhile, on the Eastern side, you can look forward to scuba diving in the clean, fresh waters of Cococay, admiring the views on the picturesque island of St. Thomas and exploring the interesting history of the French and Dutch town of St. Maarten.
Many of the Caribbean’s most beautiful islands are to be found on the south side, such as Dominica, known as the ‘Nature Isle’ of the Caribbean as a result of its sensational natural beauty. The Old San Juan area of Puerto Rico is the second oldest European settlement in the New World, while the famous island of Barbados offers the chance to go off-roading through Joe’s River Tropical Rainforest. A highlight for those who enjoy sea life is the spectacular Alice in Wonderland coral wall found in Tortola, which is a simply stunning natural phenomenon.
The best time to take a cruise to the Caribbean is during the winter months, when the weather is still fine and better than most places, but the temperature is cool enough for you to enjoy yourself, as opposed to the red hot summer months.
